Sitting On the Couch...

So Here I am sitting on the couch next to Trent and both of us are on our laptops!! Man we lead a sad life! But this is just the typical picture everynight! If you wanna find us we will be either on his couch or mine! Usually with the TV on not really paying attention and not really talking either!! It's funny how much I enjoy this time! I love seeing how dedicated Trent is to his school work, I love the funny comments we get from our families, but the one thing I love the most is when Trent will just slightly rub my knee or my side! It just helps me know that he hasn't forgotten who is sitting by him! I love him! 

Well I just have to give a shout out to Olympus! They beat West tonight which makes them number one! They have only lost one game this year! It is funny that I have been to more games this year then I probably went to my whole high school career! BUT...

GO OLY!!! 

An Amazing VALENTINES!!

Well The title of the post says it all!! Valentines was so amazing and fun! 

I started the day baby-sitting! That was ok! Nice to get paid by rich families!! 

Then I went to Robert's on this spur of the moment idea! I bought trent a 16x20 frame! I went home and made a collage of all our disneyland picture! It turned out really cute! I then cleaned the house like usual and got ready! While I was getting ready I kept thinking about how cute it was when Dave(my bro in-law) made Heidi dinner for Valentines! I couldn't help but wish Trent would!

Trent picked me up at about 5:30pm and brought me a dozen PINK tipped roses!! I gave him his frame and we left. He started driving to his house! and I said "where are we going!" He said "to dinner, I just wanna drop m frame off first." Ok fair enough I thought! We got to his house and he parked like we were staying which really confused me! But anyway we went inside and then he said, "ok lets go." I was so confused! He didn't pick up his keys! We went out and he opened the garage, I have expected the garage to be decorated. But he reached into the out side fridge and pulled out shrimp, steak, and asparagus.  It was a total surprise and exactly what I wanted!! 

We went inside and cooked dinner together! It was so much fun! He even had china and silver on the table! That means so much to me! 

It was the perfect Valentines!! He did what I had always dreamed without me telling him! It was worth a two year wait!!! 

OH and to top off the whole night I got my acceptance letter into the EARLY CHILDHOOD LICENSER PROGRAM!!

Life is about to SLOW DOWN!!!

NOT!!

Ok well I am hoping life will slow down here but I doubt it! It seems like life just gets more and more busy!! 

Today was a momentous day! I turned in my application for my license program! I was number 23 to turn it in and they take 25! My counselor said that as long as I make the minimum requirements I will most likely get in! SO that was a load off my shoulders!! I am still trying to apply to my masters but I am really worried about not getting in! My GRE did not go so well! So yeah! Here's to Prayin!! 

I also found out that I walk in MAY!! May 8th to be exact!! I think that will make it seem like everything is really real!  That I really graduated from college! Well that is about all the news from the school front!

WEDDING UPDATE:

*found my photographer! His name is Matt Christensen! He is a really close family friend so I am excited to work with him! 

-We get engagements in April and my bridals too!!

* My dress is already here!! I can't believe it! They said it would take until almost May to order it but it is in! (for those of you that want pictures I am sorry! Trent sometimes reads my blog so yeah!! I have posted them on facebook in a very secret location so If your lucky I will invite you to the location!!) 

*Thanks to my amazing sister we found someone to make our Bridesmaid dresses! Which I am very excited about! 

Other than that wedding plans have slowed down! I have been focusing on my teaching license! I really want to get back into scrapbooking but don't have time! SO yeah! That is still just a wish!! 

OH and I figured out what I am getting Trent for Valentines! I am very excited!! :)

Wedding Prep!

Who ever said planning a wedding is fun...They Lied!!!

 It is amazing! I love all the little tid bits! 

Finding  dress has been probably the most stressful thing so far! 

I know the design I want now, it is just finding it!

I tried on so many dresses at Latter-day Bride, there was one I fell in love with but I wanted to add more beading so I am still looking!

I found one online that is exactly what I want. SO... 

I called Mary's bridal today and the dress I want was sold this morning!

 I almost cried! 

Luckily Perfect Dress has it in a sample so I can go and try it on!! 

I am so excited! 

The only thing is, all wedding dress stores close at 6! I do not understand this logic! Don't they know I work until 6!! 

Hopefully I'll be able to get off work early and go find my dress!!

Tonight, well Trent and I are going to one of those too good to be true FREE trip winnings!!  I signed up for a bunch of free trips at the bridal show on Friday!

 Well turns out supposedly we won.  

SO we get to go to a free cooking class tonight. (Like the one on Hitch)

 The cook is teaching us how to cook healthy food.  

I am sure there is a gimmick somewhere, like they'll ask us to sign up for pots and pans, or a timeshare or something but it should be a blast! and a fun date.

... well again at the bridal show a china and cooking showroom guy approached me and said, "I have one card left to win a 3 day, 2 night trip.

" I said, "whats the, 'too good to be true part'?" 

He said, "All you need to do is come to the showroom and give your opinion on some china!" So our appointment is Wednesday and supposedly we just have to show up! 

So again probably a hoax but why not trust our luck and see what we get!! :)

Well that is just a little update on the wedding craziness! Lots of fun and enjoying every minute of it! I can't wait until I no longer have to say goodnight to Trent! 

The anticipation is killing me!  

OK Here I am blabbing on and on about wedding stuff when on 

Sunday I had the most amazing lesson!

 We talked about the power of sealing! 

I love the Lord's church and that he has provided us with the plan of salvation! 

I am so excited to be sealed to Trent for Time and all Eternity! 

To me the most important part of our day is the SEALING! 

I have gained such a profound impression that if everything falls apart on our wedding day the only thing that matters is the temple and that my Love and I are sealed! 

I am so grateful to the Lord for providing me that opportunity!

Happily ever AFTER!!

WE ARE ENGAGED!!

Trent and I were able to go to Disneyland with his family!

It was so much fun!

New Years day we spent in Disneyland!

That evening we watched Fantasmic and then walked the park!

I was getting so tired and Trent kept on telling me! WAKE UP!!

We decided to take one last ride on Space Mountain. Trent took forever saying bye to his Dad. His dad was done riding rides! Finally Trent met me in line! After space I was even more tired. We got off and Trent's dad was holding a disney sack. Someone asked Trent's dad what he bought and he simply said a T-shirt. No one questioned or asked to see it! I thought that was way wierd.

WE started to walk toward main street and the Castle was lit up so pretty with Christmas lights! Trent kept saying to me wake up Natalie! I was s tired! But we still went to the Castle to take pictures. We had Trent's little sister take a picture of us in front of the castle and then his Dad suggested we get in line for a professional photo. In line his little sister asked if we wanted to go first or if the family should? I thought this was wierd because I didn't expect one of just the two of us. We got to the front of the line and took family photos. The photographer made fun of me because I forgot to turn the flash on. He then said, "Did you know God is a photographer? That is why he created light!" ha ha I laughed so hard!

After family photos Trent and I stood there.

He was holding me so so tight and kept saying I love you! But not his normal I love you! It was a long drawn out I love you!

...and then He gave me our first New Years Kiss! 24 hours late!

He looked at me after and said, "Natalie, will you be my Princess?"

I was caught so off guard.

He started messing in his pocket and then began to kneel on the ground where he asked,

" Will you marry me Natalie?"

I looked at him and said, "Are you serious?"

I didn't mean it to the question I meant it to the time and place!

He had led me to believe it wasn't going to happen for a couple of months! I was so surprised!

and yes, I said, "YES!!"

He jumped up and hugged me and kissed me!

Meanwhile the photographer and his little sister were taking pictures!! :) When we walked up to the photographer he said WARN ME NEXT TIME! ha ha There will never be a next time crazy!

Trent had still not put the ring on my finger! I asked him if I could put it on and then said no you put it on my finger!

We walked over to Trent's family and in the sack his Dad had bought Wedding Mouse Ears!

SO THAT IS THE STORY!! WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!! When we returned to the Hotel my cheeks hurt so bad from SMILING! I am so happy and so excited!! :)

We do not have an exact date yet but we are looking at the end of May beginning of June! If anyone has any yards that would be BEAUTIFUL! Let us know!

It's the end of life as I know it!

Today was the end of life as I know it! Well this month is really! I am so excited to be done with school! As Trent can attest to I have been very stressed out the past couple of days preparing for my PRAXIS exam! I passed both the reading and the math sections and in 15 business days I will know if I am going to actually have a chance to get into my licensing program for fall, when I receive my writing scores!! I have to thank the Lord! He truly blessed me through my test! I am so grateful for father's blessings and for a father that is a worthy priesthood holder that could give me one!  With out the Lord there is no way I would have been able to remain so calm through out my test! So Thank you HEAVENLY FATHER!  

Other reasons for beginning a new page in life:

*A TOILET UPSTAIRS-- Yes my family has been sharing one bathroom. It happened to be downstairs so in the mornings I would have to force my self to get out of bed, to hike down the stairs to the bathroom! NOT ANY MORE!! :)

(No Our Toilet does not look like this but I thought it was pretty cool!)

*Heidi and Dave and Anna-- They final came home! At least for Christmas! It was a very exciting reunion as everyone danced around excited to see how healthy they are and excited to see how big Anna has gotten! Of course the cousins attacked her! At one point I walked into the TV room to find them laying on her on the couch! Funny Nieces and Nephews!

*REMODELING almost finished!!--  They laid the carpet in the TV room, refinished the floors and tomorrow is the day for all the shelves and things in the bathrooms! I am excited to have a clean house again!

Life has been busier than ever! But I am ready for a break! I am so excited for December 31st! Why you may ask?? Well Trent has invited me to go to DISNEYLAND WITH HIS FAMILY!! I am so excited! 3 days in the happiest place on EARTH!! I am really excited to go again with Trent! I just love being with him and adding Disney makes it even better!
