I LOVE KINDERGARTEN!

So yesterday I was afraid I was going to seriously hate kindergarten! But today I realized how much I truly love those kids! There is so much I want to do to help them! I can't wait for my future classroom! I have so many ideas! My program director came in today and said to me "welcome back!" I was super confused until she said..."I thought we might have lost you in third grade" probably because I was getting depressed in third grade! I told her my heart is in kindergarten but third grade help me learn a lot about my self! I would love to work in a KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM! I know that there are not a lot of jobs out there! So if anyone knows of any let me know and talk me up!! Please!
Mean while I am just waiting my time!!
Kids say the darnest things!
* "b-u-t-t do you know what that spells BUTT!!"
* Class question What can you do in the rain? "I can sta in mi house!"
*"I like octagons but not when they make you stop!"
*"Mrs. Young my mom got chocolates for Valentines"

Oh how I could go on!

LOVE THOSE KIDS!!

Last day in 3rd Grade!

I can't believe it but today was my last day in third grade! These past 7 weeks (3months) went by so fast! I have really been in there since October! I love those kids! Today was the best last day! I was doing odds and ends to get everything together (making books of units that I made.) In the work room I was called down to my classroom. At first I was really worried that I was late for "Friday Fun" (which is time for those kids that have missing assignments to catch up) or that a student might be hurt. BUT the truth is my class surprised me with a DISNEY PARTY!! My site teacher knew how much I love Disney, she bought Princess Cupcakes and had old fashion Mickey Movies up on the projector! It was the best present ever! As a third grade they made me the sweetest book with letters from all the students. Reading through them brought tears to my eyes! I have learned so much being in this classroom. I don't know where I would be with out my amazing site teacher Tami! She has been teacher for 13 years and is absolutely amazing! I can only home to be as amazing as her some day! Thanks Tami! and Thank you to all my students for helping me learn!

Here is just a few things I was able to do with my students!

A science unit on the MOON and EARTH! Studying the surfaces, shapes, orbits, rotations, revolutions, and differences! I learned so much! It was a blast!

My Bulletin board!
Playing with the Dust on the Moon!! Making Craters and seas!

These are plates with the different moon phases behind each night scene!

A math unit on MEASUREMENT!! Teaching Distance, Time, Weight, Mass, and Capacity all in both metric and customary measurements!

Measure how much water fits in the gallon, quart, and pint jugs!
Measuring the width of the cd and the length of the flashlight!

LOTS AND LOTS of READING UNITS!! We talked about verbs and combining sentences. Read stories to help us Infer about future events, talked about the sequence of events of stories and much much more!!

Fun art!! Rembrandt Shading!
I learned so much that I can't begin to write down!!
NOW ON TO KINDERGARTEN!!!

Oh the EXCITEMENT!

As you can tell I am really excited for SPRING! It is my favorite time of year! The tulips and daffodils start to come out of the frozen ground! The wonderful Holidays; St. Patty's Day, Easter, Spring Break, General Conference, Cinco de Mayo, and of coarse my BIRTHDAY!!
Everyone's attitudes start to perk up, people begin walking around the neighborhoods more, birds start chirping! It is just a fabulous time of year!

SO HAPPY SPRING!!

Kinnersley's Family Vacation 2009

WELCOME TO...

My honey finally made it!!
Trent was bored as we waited for my parents to arrive!!

Everything is made of LEGO'S!!

Hurray for HOLLY!
Hello Lego MAN!!

So Legoland has these weird rules about rides, the child has to be on a certain side, two adults can not ride in the same car (on small any ride.) In my opinion they are worried people.

SCARY DINO!
Best rollo!! It's like Peat's Dragon at Lagoon! Notice where Heidi is sitting!

Notice where Grandpa is sitting! ha ha
Silly Lion!

Hello LEGO Indy!
Grumpy old LEGO man!
My future car! (preferably not out of LEGOs!) This was so cool it was a full size Volvo built on a Volvo frame out of LEGOS!!

Yes We are Cheesy! Romeo and Juliet!
Locked Up!

Love Playing with ANNA!! She is such a sweet heart!

Funny Bathroom signs! Thought we would pose for it!

Ok this was crazy! So its a robot arm in which you pick your level from 1 to 5 (of coarse we picked 5) and it just throws you around! Makes you pretty sick and gives you a head ache but it is pretty amazing!

So so cute!
Locked up by innocent ANNA!
Mommy and Anna trying to get free!!

This slide was so crazy and burned your bumm! Ha ha it sent of sparks! it was funny!
Viva Las LEGO's!

New York New York!!

and on to WASHINGTON!!
Obviously Lego Land was fun! It is incredible the things they created out of LEGOS!
Not somewhere I need to go anywhere in the next few years!
But it was a great experience! I love being with the Family!

Life in the MAKING! !
